"Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think."
— Albert Einstein
Dear Parents, Students, and Well-Wishers,
It gives me immense joy and gratitude to share this message as St. Mathew School steps forward with renewed hope and purpose. After a short break, our school was reopened in May 2025, and today it is steadily growing as a centre of learning from Nursery to Class V. This new beginning is not just a continuation of academic activities, but a commitment to live education in its truest sense.
At St. Mathew School, we believe that life is a precious gift, and education is the art of helping children live that life well. True education is not measured only by marks or ranks, but by how truthfully our children learn to live, how wisely they grow, and how positively they touch the lives of others. Every day offers our students an opportunity to learn, to improve, and to grow not only in knowledge, but also in character and values.
Inspired by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam's words, "Excellence is a continuous process, not an accident," we strive to create an environment of discipline, perseverance, and joyful learning. At the same time, guided by Mahatma Gandhi's vision of selfless service, we place strong emphasis on value education—integrity, kindness, respect, and compassion.
St. Mathew School is proud to be one of the missionary schools administered by the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow, which runs 38 schools across 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Our mission is to form young minds and hearts who will not only succeed in life, but also become responsible, caring, and value-driven citizens.
Let us walk together—parents, teachers, and students—to build a future filled with hope, goodness, and meaningful living.
With warm regards,
Fr. Denis Naresh Lobo
